homemade CD cases

Since a few of you asked.... here are a few quick pics of the CD cases I made a few nights ago. Basically each "case" has a clear jewel case inside of it. Therefore these are kinda like slip covers in a way so that the CD is still very protected but personalized.

Let me know your thoughts!

  1. Awesome thing about these they aren't expensive at all! BUT i think they are personalized. The brown paper is just from a paper bag, the flowers were on clearance, fun paper (on clearance), 1 jewel CD case (bought in bulk), and then the "name tag" things which I plan to actually print my business info on. So ya, I'd say about $2 per case maybe?

Please let me know your honest thoughts! haha

  2. Very creative way to add a personal touch to your products. I definitely think this would be one way that you could stand out from other photogs. Anything personalized is a big deal to clients. And if it's inexpensive, what do you have to lose? I think it's a great idea and adds a nice touch to your work.

  3. Beautiful! It really shows how fun and creative you are. I love the way that got all that done for only $2. Fantastic. You are really pulling away from the norm, and I think people are going to be even more likely remember (and recommend you) even just from this :) Great job friend!

I may try and do something like this if you don't mind... Design my own (or con my sister into it) Let me know if you would mind my applying your cool idea to my CD's..

    WAY TO BE CREATIVE!!

  5. Sarah, can I just say that you make me smile. Your creativity is so ingenious! Can I please come over and you teach me all your amazing stuff? These CD cases are amazing. =) I want to do something neat like that! Definitely memorable. :) But, I wanted to ask you, how do you do the CDs ~ do you put a label on them, or have a Lightscribe, or..?? surely you do something more creative than just blank CDs from the office store. [yes, sadly that is what I have done but want to do something different!]

Love you and miss you girl!
